IT Support Technician:

Under the general direction of the IT Manager, the IT Support Technician will be responsible for ensuring that library staff can use software and hardware to complete their daily tasks. Duties include being a point of contact for all IT related questions at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner, and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other duties.

The starting salary range is $22.00-$25.00/hour, depending on experience.

Outreach Associate

Due to a staff member’s retirement Troy-Miami County Public Library is looking for a part-time candidate to join our Outreach Services team (20-29 hours/week). Under the general direction of the Outreach Services Manager, the Outreach Associate drives the bookmobile and assists patrons during scheduled stops throughout the service area, supports special programs in the community and performs other day-to-day tasks in support of the Outreach Services Department.

The starting salary range is $14.11 - $18.00/hour, depending on experience.

Branch Associate

Troy-Miami County Public Library is looking for a part-time associate to assist patrons at the Oakes-Beitman Memorial Library in Pleasant Hill. A priority focus for the person in this position will be to develop and present programs that appeal to teenage members of the community.

The starting salary range is $14.11-$16 hour, depending on experience. Scheduled at 20 hours/week to include daytime, evening, and Saturday shifts subject to change as needed. Additional hours may be available as a substitute. A typical schedule is shown below.

M: 3-7

Tu: 1-5

W: 1-5

Th: 3-7

F: 1-5 OR Sa: 9-1

(Note: Saturday rotation will be about 1 a month.)

Job Title: Technical Services Associate

Job Summary:

The Troy-Miami County Public Library is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist the Collection Development & Technical Services Manager in copy-cataloging and other cataloging and acquisitions related work. Duties include carrying out library acquisition procedures, copy-cataloging and processing, entering materials in library ILS, and assistance with record and collection maintenance. This position also makes routine library technical assistance decisions. The work requires that the employee has good knowledge, skill, and ability in every phase of library technical support functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The starting salary range is $14.11-$16 hour, depending on experience. Scheduled at 20 hours/week.
