Learn Before You Create
To help you get the most out of your Maker Lab experience, we encourage you to explore our self-guided training resources, available for many of our machines and software programs. These tutorials can help you build confidence and get started on your project. Maker Lab staff are available to answer questions, provide guidance, and assist with troubleshooting as needed.

What is a Makerspace?
Makerspaces are collaborative spaces where people come together to learn, create, and explore using shared tools, technology, and equipment.
The Troy-Miami County Public Library Maker Lab gives the community access to tools and technology not always available at home. The space includes a makerspace and meeting room, supporting learning, creativity, and collaboration.
The Maker Lab currently houses 3D printers, a vinyl printer, CNC milling and routing machines, a sublimation print station and press, a UV printer, embroidery and sewing machines, an audio recording studio, hand tools, safety gear, and more.
