Libraries Rock!

Readers of all ages will explore all things “rocky” as the Troy-Miami County Public Library presents their summer library program, “Libraries Rock!” Monday, June 4 – Friday, August 3. The 2018 Summer Reading Challenge is designed to encourage children, teens, and adults to read independently and participate in literacy-based activities. Free activities and events are offered at the library throughout the summer to engage all ages and foster the love of reading.

The Giving Tree display

Want to help a veteran? Here’s a quick and easy way to make someone’s day amazing. Join us in helping and supporting Honor Flight of Dayton by writing letters to our local veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War who take the trip of a lifetime to Washington D.C. to see their memorials. Stop by the library to write your letter or follow these tips below and write them at home. Just deliver them to the specially decorated "Mailbox" located by the Giving Tree in the library sometime this month.
