Readers of all ages will explore all things “Out of This World” as part of our Summer Library Challenge 2019, “A Universe of Stories” beginning Monday, June 3 – Friday, August 2. The 2019 Summer Library Challenge is designed to encourage children, teens, and adults to read independently and participate in literacy-based activities. Free activities and events are offered at the library throughout the summer to engage all ages and foster the love of reading.

Troy-Miami County Public Library is pleased to offer its cardholders access to Lynda.com’s library of instructional videos. Normally, using Lynda.com requires a paid subscription, but as a library cardholder, you can access Lynda.com content from any computer with an internet connection simply by entering your library card number and 4 digit PIN.
Mango is free for all library patrons and can be accessed anywhere with an Internet connection. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions. The courses are presented with an appreciation for cultural nuance and real-world application by focusing on the four key elements of language learning: vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and culture.
