  • Possession of weapons or other object used to inflict physical harm
   
  • Any person refusing to leave library buildings or premises at closing or when asked to by a library staff person.
   
  • Theft, or attempted theft, of library premises or personal premises of another patron/staf
   
  • Improper use, destruction, or defacement of library property or grounds and/or materials
   
  • Fighting, challenging, or assaulting anyone on library premises
   
  • Engaging in sexual activity, including solicitation for prostitution or indecent exposure, anywhere on library premises
   
  • Possession, distribution, selling, or consumption of alcohol or illegal substances on library premises, including marijuana
   
  • Verbal or physical harassment, threatening behavior, and/or use of abusive, derogatory, or vulgar language or gestures
   
  • Alcohol or drug-related inebriation when consumption on premises can’t be proven
   
* Violations may be reported to law enforcement.

  • Using cell phones or playing audio equipment in a disruptive manner
   
  • Running or walking in an unsafe or disruptive manner
   
  • Sleeping
   
  • Panhandling or soliciting for sales or charity
   
  • Petitioning or distributing non-library approved materials
   
  • Congregating on library premises in a manner which obstructs access or interferes with others’ use of the library
   
  • Bringing animals into the library other than service animals necessary for those with disabilities
   
  • Using personal transportation items such as rollerblades, skateboards, roller skates or similar devices inside the library or park.
   
  • Blocking aisles or other spaces with personal items.
   
  • Significant body odor or other excessive odors
   
  • Infestation
   
  • Vaping e-cigarettes and spit tobacco
