One Book, Many Communities 2023

The region-wide One Book, Many Communities program kicks off on Thursday, March 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Paris Public Library, 127 East Main Street, St. Paris, Ohio, with A History of Bluegrass Music featuring Bill Purk and Reed Jones. This, like all OBMC activities, is FREE and open to all.

Troy-Miami County Public Library will be hosting three events in participation. Join us for our Long Forgotten Women of Troy (March 30) presentation, a Local Author Fair (April 15), and our discussion of The Widows by Jess Montgomery at Monday Night Book Club (April 17).

As a finale to our One Book, Many Communities events, join us on Wednesday, April 19th at 7:00 PM at Edison State Community College for an evening with Jess Montgomery. Vick Mickunas, host of WYSO’s Book Nook, will lead a discussion with the author about her book, The Widows, with time at the end for audience members to ask questions as well. The interview will be preceded by a meet and greet, beginning at 5:30, where Jess Montgomery will be signing copies of her book.

Complete information about all of the One Book, Many Communities programs can be found in the OBMC booklet, available below and at Troy-Miami County Public Library.
