Fines

The late fee for all materials, except new DVDs, is 10 cents per day. The maximum fine for one item is $5 but it will not be more than half the price of the material. This includes books, CDs, audio cassettes, paperbacks, magazines, art prints, two week videos and two week DVDs, books-on-cassette, books-on-CD.

Newer DVDs check out for one week with a fine of $1.25 per day ($10 maximum).

Patrons with $4 or more in fines are prevented from checking out materials or using library computers. These fines will also restrict online renewal and the ability to place reserves as well as access to the public internet workstations.
