Dayton SCORE and Troy-Miami County Public Library are partnering with the establishment of a counseling center in Troy. Volunteers will staff the Library on the first Tuesday (Ed Butcher) and third Tuesday (John Soutar) of the month starting in April, 2015. An introduction of SCORE will take place on Tuesday, March 31, from 6:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. All are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
The Troy Fire Prevention Department will present a free program on carbon monoxide safety at 7 p.m. April 7 at Troy-Miami County Public Library, 419 W. Main St. The program will include information on the sources of carbon monoxide as well as ways to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. There will also be a demonstration of carbon monoxide detectors.
