The Bookmobile is Back!
Starting February 1, the library's bookmobile will be back on the road. This effort is being by coordinated by Outreach Services Coordinator Penny Marsh. For questions, or to request service, please call Penny at 339-0502 ext. 14.
Changes for the New Year!
With the passage of the levy (Thank You again, everyone!) and the new calendar year, there will be some changes that will benefit our users.
Self Check-There is now a station at the circulation desk where you may check out your own materials. It is very simple to use, with step by step instructions. Library Staff members are available to help you with using it if you have any questions.
MORE System Changes
While Dayton Metro Library has chosen to no longer participate in the MORE system, we are still participating. On the catalog page, under the tab "Other Libraries", there is a link that says "Search Ohio Libraries Share/MORE". This link will still allow you to search libraries throughout the state and place reserves on items they own. If you search MORE and an item belongs to Dayton, Bradford or Germantown, the reserve should be placed through the regular library catalog. Dayton is still sharing items among consortium members. Winter Storytimes
Sign ups for Winter Storytimes began January 4th. Toddler Storytimes are Tuesdays at 10am and 1:30pm, and Friday at 10am. Preschool Storytimes are Tuesdays at 10am and Wednesdays at 1:30pm. Space is limited, so call 339-0502 to register your child soon!
